About helen Hill

Jamie Cantwell, the creator behind Helen Hill, developed an interest in hats at an early age.  Following a brief detour as a lawyer, she began studying millinery at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, supplementing the skills she acquired there with masterclass training by several internationally recognized milliners.

Helen Hill hats are made by hand using traditional millinery techniques. The flowers used to embellish a Helen Hill hat are also created in-house, and are tinted, tooled, and fabricated by hand, which allows clients of her custom millinery work to ensure the hat or fascinator they receive coordinates perfectly with their ensemble.
